The 9th Company (2005)
I was positively surprised by this movie. A Russian Full Metal Jacket, it is skillfully made, gripping, and suspenseful, with multilayered characters and distinct cinematography that give an authentic feel to the movie. The final scenes are horrific and heavy with despair.
