Nokia 6300: My New Phone
I purchased a new phone on November 23: an unlocked Nokia 6300. I had been interested in this particular model for a while, so I didn't hesitate to pick one up when a special offer came along.
Things I like about the phone:
- Large, clear, sharp display with up to 16 million true colors.
- Supports Bluetooth, so I can finally use my Sony Ericsson HBH-PV705 headset.
- Professional look and feel.
- The blue lights on the sides that flash when there is a new message or missed call (can be turned off).
- Connects to a PC with an ordinary USB cable (A male to mini-B male).
- The firmware can be upgraded by using Nokia Software Updater and the aforementioned USB cable.
- Flight mode.
- Supports MP3 ringtones.
It's not the most advanced phone on the market, but it suits my needs and I'm very happy with my new phone.
