Flyboys (2006)

There are some technically accomplished though not particularly engaging dogfight sequences and quite good cinematography in this stylish but uneven movie. It is, however, too romanticized as a whole, and formulaic ingredients, such as the final battle between the protagonist and the chief villain at the end of the movie, are not scarce.
